Senior squad bag new coaching duo for the club moving forward

Brendan's are delighted to announce that newly signed Bristol Rugby RFC players have taken on the coaching vacancies with St Brendan's RFC Senior squad. George Perkins & Joe Batley have agreed to coach and manage the squad after their recent moves to Bristol and are looking to pursue their interest in coaching alongside representing Bristol on the pitch.

Winger, Perkins - who helped England U20s to the RBS Six Nations title in 2016 – made the switch from European champions, Saracens, to join Bristol. He is sure to have a tremendous influence on the Backs, complimenting their massive potential.

Joe Batley, Second Row, towering at 6'6 and 124kg, joined from Gloucester having made four appearances for the Kingsholm club and hopes to bring some grit and structure to Brendan's talented pack, helping them to compete with the tough Gloucester sides.

It appears the future is bright for St Brendan's with their 3rd season now in Gloucester One, new 4G pitch, incredible facilities at Coombe Dingle and a superb start to pre-season.
